This event marked the inaugural Francophone Book Fair in Washington, DC, which took place at The Ven Hotel at Embassy Row in Dupont Circle on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Francophone authors from the region were present to meet attendees, sign books, and offer their works for sale in both English and French. Additionally, food and drinks were available for purchase at the hotel’s bar-restaurant.

The event was organized as part of FrancophonieDC, an annual cultural festival sponsored by Smithsonian Associates. Bonjour Books DC served as the official bookseller, with support from the Alliance Française of Washington and the Québec Government Office in Washington.
